Build a future-proof earning model on your land

Earn from fiber crops and carbon credits

More and more growers and landowners are looking for a sustainable and profitable alternative. By growing Paulownia and Miscanthus, you tap into the growing demand for biobased raw materials and CO₂ reduction.

Dealin.Green guides you from A to Z: from action plan and cultivation to processing and sales.

Willem van de Kamp

“I was looking for a crop that is profitable and has a future. With Paulownia the picture fits.”

Willem van de Kamp, Paulownia grower

Why this works

Both agriculture and construction face major challenges:

  • CO₂ emissions, nitrogen output and biodiversity in agriculture

  • Strict environmental requirements in construction

By connecting these worlds, something new emerges:

✔ A stable revenue model for growers and landowners
✔ Sustainable raw materials for construction
✔ Positive impact on climate and environment

Crops

Miscanthus

Super strong elephant grass

Miscanthus is a perennial crop that can produce up to 20 tons of biomass per hectare per year. It is a C4 plant that efficiently uses sunlight, water and nitrogen. The crop is ideal for biobased applications and CO₂ storage.

Absorbs large amounts of CO₂
Improves soil and water quality
Captures particulate matter and ammonia
Perfect for biobased applications

Kiri / Paulownia

The aluminium of timber

The Paulownia tree (also known as Kiri tree) is one of the fastest growing trees on our planet. As a result, it also absorbs a lot of CO₂. It is a tree that you keep harvesting - from 1 planting it regrows up to 5 times. Remarkably, it is extremely light, the aluminium of timber, yet very strong. The tree is suitable for various climates and cultivation offers an excellent alternative revenue model compared to regular arable crops. Paulownia is classified as a crop (CAP 7136), not as forestry.
