From cultivation to sales — for farmers and builders

At every step, we support the farmer — from growing, processing and selling fibre crops to trading carbon credits via our Dealin.Green Trading platform. And for builders, we offer a reliable supply chain of biobased materials and carbon credits through our platform. With our expert guidance and short supply chain, we give the biobased market a real boost.

Generations of horticultural experience

Dealin.Green was founded by the Van Staalduinen family, who have generations of experience in horticulture. In 2018, Joris and Matthijs joined the business, with a focus on genetics in greenhouse horticulture. A passion emerged for growing crops that absorb large amounts of CO2. Since 2020, they have been developing new revenue models for farmers and other agricultural entrepreneurs, with fibre crops at the centre.

Within Dealin.Green, we have brought together all the expertise — from genetics selection specialists, cultivation experts, carbon credit specialists and fibre processors — to offer farmers a future-proof revenue model and to accelerate biobased construction.

Our crops

Miscanthus

Harvestable within one year

Miscanthus is a perennial crop that can produce up to 20 tonnes of biomass per hectare per year. It is a C4 plant that efficiently uses sunlight, water and nitrogen. The crop is ideal for biobased applications and CO2 sequestration.

20 t fibres/year
30 tonnes CO₂/year
100% virus-free and sterile
-50°C to +50°C
Produced from 2nd and 3rd year source material

Kiri / Paulownia

The aluminium of wood

The Paulownia tree (also known as the Kiri tree) is one of the fastest growing trees on the planet. It absorbs large amounts of CO2. It keeps regrowing after harvest - from one planting it grows back up to 5 times. Remarkably, it is extremely lightweight, the aluminium of wood, yet very strong. The tree is suitable for diverse climates and the cultivation offers an excellent alternative revenue model compared to conventional arable farming.
